List your stay

Create a host account, add your stay with its address, fill in the checklist and publish it so guests can book.

You run your stays from the Holuway managing area, the same workspace landlords use. Listing is free to start; see What it costs for how Holuway is paid.

Create your host account

  1. Step 1Open the Stays host page and select Create your host account.
  2. Step 2Make your account and confirm your email. See Create an account.
  3. Step 3Sign in. Stays opens in your workspace.

Add the stay

  1. Step 1Select Add a stay.
  2. Step 2Enter the Name guests will see and choose the Kind of stay. Add the Street address, City, a two letter State and the ZIP code. Only the name and city are needed to start.
  3. Step 3Select Add stay. The stay opens on its own page as a Draft.

Work through the checklist

The Listing checklist at the top of the stay's page lists what is missing. Select Fix next to an item to jump to it.

  • To go live: the full address with a 5 digit ZIP, at least one room type with guests and a nightly rate, and a phone or email for bookings. Add rooms as in Add room types and nightly rates.
  • To appear in Google and other search results: the address on the map, a description of at least 80 characters, and at least one real photo.
  • Worth doing: your house rules.

In Details, also set Check-in from, Check-out by and the Cancellation policy: Flexible, Moderate or Strict. Select Save details.

Publish

  1. Step 1When everything under To go live is done, select Publish.
  2. Step 2Tick the box to confirm you manage the place or may advertise it, and that its details are accurate.
  3. Step 3Select Publish now. The stay is Live and guests can find and book it. Select View public page to see it as guests do.

Select Unpublish at any time to take it off. Bookings already made stand.

Note: Guests can ask to book before your payouts are set up, and you arrange payment with them. To take cards, see Set up payouts for stays.
