Add room types and nightly rates

A room type is what guests book: one of a kind or several identical rooms, with its guests, beds, nightly rate and minimum nights.

Guests book room types, not single rooms. A whole cabin is one room type with one of it; a hotel's king rooms are one room type with as many as you have.

Add a room type

  1. Step 1Open the stay in Stays and go to Room types.
  2. Step 2Select Add a room type.
  3. Step 3Enter the Name, the Nightly rate (USD) and how many Guests it sleeps. These are required.
  4. Step 4Set How many of these you have, the Minimum nights, and if you like the Size (sq ft). Under Beds, select Add a bed for each kind of bed.
  5. Step 5Select Save room type.

The nightly rate is the base price for every night. To charge more or less on certain nights, see Close dates and set nightly prices.

Edit or remove

Use the pencil next to a room type to edit it, or the bin to remove it. Once removed, guests can no longer book it.
